| The staging area is at Little Truckee Summit OHV parking lot — from Truckee, go 14 miles north on Hwy 89, turn off to Jackson Meadows Res., Webber Lake and Independence Lake.
The trailhead is 45 minutes west of Reno and 30 minutes north of Lake Tahoe.
